Introduction

I set up this blog at the end of summer 2012 when I moved to Newfoundland to embark upon my Master's. I use it as a link to my friends and family back home and around the world, telling the stories of my adventure in a way that photos on Facebook simply can't. I try to keep it up to date every couple months, or whenever something interesting happens, and hopefully people find it interesting enough to read. If not I don't mind it being simply a diary for myself, that I can look back on in the future. It's also a very handy form of therapy.

Hobbies: Sports. As in all of them. Football, rugby league, rugby union, cricket, ice hockey, American Football, Athletics, Darts. You name it, I'll probably have an interest in it. Used to play rugby union before I tore my ACL. Wish I had the balls to play again.
